Mediation Center
Results

• Each year the Westchester Mediation Center handles more than 2,500 cases in our various program areas. While not all result in agreement, approximately 70% do. Even more important than the agreement rate is the compliance rate, which is over 75%.


• Our Eviction Prevention Program preserves homes for hundreds of families each year, which translates into assistance to well over 2,000 people.


• Our Custody/Visitation Mediation Program assists approximately 200 couples a year in creating parenting plans and developing a more collaborative way of communicating with and about their children and with each other.


• Our Restorative Justice Initiative has served over 100 children in its first 2 years of existence both in delinquency prevention and victim/offender mediation.
